The desk and cabinet, crafted to match the surrounding elements and colors, use the same materials, but their upper and lower positions are cross-arranged to introduce variation, considering they will be placed side-by-side. The central desk features a raised border that surrounds three sides of the tabletop, providing stability and preventing clutter from being exposed. This approach was identically applied to the rear cabinet tops and employee desks, forming a sense of unity. In the lobby and conference room, subtly patterned stone was used for the tabletops, and the wooden base structure was designed to pair with the chairs, ensuring the pieces blend seamlessly into the space.

Between them, a long linear light evenly illuminates the entire large table, creating an ideal atmosphere for meetings and conversation. These functional lights are integrated into a single, sleek frame to bring a clean sense of order to the space. Moving beyond simple illumination, the intersection of spots and lines follows the space's use and movement, naturally completing the rhythm of work.

The panels, crafted by layering sliced wood, were curved to achieve extreme thinness, stability, and stiffness. This distinctive curved form simplifies the object, resulting in a concise, minimal piece. The soft curves, the sleekness of its thin profile, the lightweight portability, the contrasting substantiality of the dark color, and the rough yet gentle texture of the natural grain. We hope those who encounter this small table perceive these features.

Therefore, furniture that adapts to various changes and serves multiple functions in small spaces is appropriate for this era. Separating into upper and lower parts, this chair transforms into a floor table and a floor seat, respectively. This functionality appropriately accommodates our blended chair-based Western-style and Korean floor-sitting lifestyle. The linear form created by the intersection of wood and metal generates a richer appearance when combined with shadows, and the colors of material, texture, and light reflection help to unify into a cohesive form.

The idea began with the realization that the corner guards we use daily make the entire space look messy. What if we integrate these add-on guards into the furniture components, turning them into a unified design element? Applying the sponge-based soft corner details to every piece of furniture creates visual consistency, unifying function, story, and identity. Applying this material to the chair’s seat and armrests provides comfortable seating and allows for easy replacement when needed.

This dining table is designed for newlyweds who frequently host guests and whose families live nearby, leading to frequent visits. A table for four is the most common size used in restaurants and homes, but expanding the seating capacity requires a larger surface area. Consequently, the increased distance between people sitting opposite causes emotional and functional inconvenience for only two users. This table addresses this problem by blending a large circle with a small square. Normally, two regular users sit in the square area to share food comfortably at a close distance, while when guests visit, the area expands to the large circle, allowing six or more people to gather and share food easily.
